We decorated our Christmas tree tonight after supper.  All the Sisters got into the work and fun of decorating.  We had to buy a smaller tree this year because the one we currently have is too big for the room.  There is an ongoing convent construction going on and it is making things difficult for the convent this year.  But we were all happy with the result and it made for good Community time together.  We will have a prayer service for the lighting of the tree this Saturday and that will officially open the Christmas season for us- just in time for Gaudete Sunday!  I hope to make this Christmas special this year.  Despite the demands of work, attending social gatherings, etc. we can still keep our hearts still and our longings directed to the reason for the season- the Child Jesus.  Come, Lord Jesus, come!
