United For Life

On this eve of "March for Life" in Washington, I would like to extend my heartfelt sentiments of support and love for the countless men and women who will be participating in this annual collective witness to the cause.  Their dedication and perseverance are examples for us all.  I hoped to be there but the demands of ministry prevent me from going.  We are, however, organizing a Rosary for Life in the Home which will be attended by Staff, Residents, Visitors and Sisters in reparation and in plea to God for an end to abortion and euthanasia.  We are united in spirit and intention as we pray and march for life.

"Father, as we gather together as people of life, we ask for your continued blessings upon our works and endeavors.  Grant us the virtues and courage we need,  and strengthen us to defend life and uphold the dignity of every human person from conception to natural death despite the opposition of those who promote the culture of death.  We ask pardon for the sins of abortion, euthanasia, child and elderly abuse, and all acts violating human dignity.  Our Lady of Guadalupe, intercede for us!"
