Tomorrow,July 7th, we begin the novena of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. I always think of this day as my kind of "anniversary" because this was the day I received my vocation to Carmel from Mary. Oh, gosh, 25 years ago! It was a wonderful gift and I will forever be grateful. I wish that you too will appreciate the gift of Our Lady to the Church and to us personally.
" O Beautiful Flower of Carmel, most fruitful vine, splendor of heaven, holy and singular, who brought forth the Son of God, still remaining a pure Virgin. Assist us in our necessity! O Star of the Sea, help and protect us! Show us that you are our Mother!"
