I Got Shot!
photo: standupforamerica.wordpress.com/.../
.. Well, not fatally, I mean FLU SHOT! Yep, since I am the one giving the flu shot to our employees, I decided to take a dose of my own medicine and practice what I preach. Miraculously (that's what I call it), I didn't have to do a lot of convincing and sales-talk . Even the guys braved it this year. The CDC (Center for Disease Control)strongly recommends, even mandates, getting your flu shot. I know people get sensitive about this and some cannot reasonably get it because of allergy, but if one can, one better do it. I feel fine at the moment and hopefully I get the same turn out tomorrow!

Have you seen any info on the companies that apparently are using stem cells from aborted babies to make the H1N1 vaccine and others. I was wondering, working in health care what you know about this and any idea on how to approach it... www.cogforlife.org
ReplyDeleteAs far as I know, the seasonal flu vaccines are derived from chicken embryo (hence contraindicated to those with allergy to eggs). H1N1 vaccine is derived from the serum of individuals who were infected with the virus last year. Life News had an article about the same thing. I will post it when I find it.
