Silence in the Rule of Carmel
The rule of St. Albert recommends the practice of silence as part of our lifestyle. There is no better time to be reminded of this than now. We are all busy people and the demands of ministry can be overwhelming. But silence is not just a counsel but a necessity if we are to remain faithful to our Carmelite vocation.

Hi Sister. I just heard that I'm up for becoming a Novice in the 3rd Order Carmelites in December. I better start working on the silence.
