Wild Exposure
I went to visit my parents in Northern California last Spring. I had a wonderful time and the weather was predictably fabulous. One afternoon, a friend of ours, took me to a restaurant (the name escapes me now) famous for their display of preserved African wildlife. One can see black and white photos of the owners after killing an elephant or lion or a rhino. The restaurant was not very big and the collection was enormous! It really was very impressive! I was disquieted eating my food with a huge elephant on the wall staring at me! They all looked so alive.
